Getting around in Madrid is very straight-forward. If, during your corporate trip, you stay close to the centre, you should be able to walk to most places of interest. If you want to save time, take a taxi, the metro or bus.

Airport Transfers

The easiest and cheapest way of getting door-to-door service from the airport to your hotel for small groups is by chauffeur-driven, air-conditioned minibuses. It is a fast and reliable service, where you will be met at the airport and driven directly to your hotel in Madrid.

Luxury chauffeur-driven Limousine & Mercedes

If you want to impress and travel in style, why not have your very own Limousine or S Class Mercedes waiting for you with a chauffeur, ready and willing to take you wherever you would like to go in Madrid. This can be arranged on an hourly basis for your corporate trip.

Metro

Madrid's metro system offers the most cost-effective way of getting around the city. It is cheap, clean, fast and covers most areas a visitor is likely to want to go. It runs from 6am to 1:30am daily and the flat fare is only 1 Euro (about 69p) to any metro destination, irrespective of distance. We recommend purchasing a 10 trip-ticket at the beginning of your stay, for only 6.40 Euros!

Taxis

Taxis are in abundance throughout the city. A green light means that they are empty and available for hire. Three tariff systems operate, tariff 1 operates during the daytime until 10pm, tariff 2 after 10pm, on Sundays and public holidays and tariff 3 operates outside the centre of the city. The total fare from the airport to the city centre is approximately 30 Euros which includes an additional 4 Euros airport supplement. Taxis will only take a maximum of 4 people, if you would like a larger taxi, minibus, Mercedes or Limousine, contact us.

Buses

For large corporate groups, we recommend a private air-conditioned minibus or coach for airport transfers and corporate activities in Madrid. Should you require a minibus or coach for the entire time you are in Madrid Contact us for a quotation.

Rental Cars

If you prefer to drive yourselves around, many deals are available on rental cars. We recommend Holiday Autos, the world's leading leisure car rental company. Prices start at just £9 per day and they monitor competitor prices daily to ensure lowest prices in all European "low cost" flight destinations. The only advantage of having a rental car in Madrid during your corporate trip is if you are planning to go further afield.
